SPECIALIST EXTENDED WARRANTY FACILITY
Introduction
The framework of the extended warranty facility is designed for manufacturing companies who have a business which is not just core, it is their lifeblood.
These manufacturing businesses specialise in a variety of sectors of industry where the manufacturer will have a business founded on their specialist knowledge and a high level of service creating a reputation that is built over many years proving both the level of quality of the overall operation and the quality and reliability of the product itself.
The specialist nature of their particular product will also mean that the manufacturers operate in a sector where they will naturally be at the forefront of a market where necessary skill levels in production, design and high quality service are a necessity.
Procedure
The Heritage International risk panel consists of highly experienced professionals in insurance, reinsurance, engineering, production management, marketing, sales and project management. A site visit will be conducted. This will include manufacturing process inspections, an inspection of records of potential claims over as many years as possible.
There will be a collation of documents including the manufacturers warranty wording, any claims figures, management process certifications followed by the construction of questionnaires for client signature so that all relevant statements and information may form part of the overall policy. Technical information will be collected through operator’s manuals and specification details in order to compile the components list in order to construct an extended warranty programme for the manufacturer.
